There's a fast sting when the wax lifts, and some pinkness after that settles within an hour or so. Results generally hold for two to three weeks as the hair grows back, and you can keep it up on a regular cycle. Skip heavy exfoliants and sun right after, and avoid retinols on the brow area for a day or two.

How is waxing different from threading? +
Waxing removes hair in sections with warm wax, while threading uses twisted thread to pull hairs individually. Waxing tends to be faster and the shape holds a little longer for most people.
Does brow waxing hurt? +
There's a quick sting when the wax is pulled, but it's over in a second. Most clients find it very manageable, and it usually gets easier the more regularly you come in.
Can I get a tint at the same time? +
Yes, a lot of our clients pair waxing with a tint in one visit. We shape first, then tint, so the whole brow reads clean and full.
How much is a brow wax? +
An eyebrow wax is $25 and takes about fifteen minutes. Brow and lip together is $35, and brow, lip, and chin is $55, which is worth knowing if you were planning to book them separately.
How long does brow hair need to be? +
About two to three weeks of growth, roughly a quarter of an inch. Shorter than that and the wax cannot grip properly. It is genuinely worth resisting the tweezers for a couple of weeks before your first appointment.
Can I get waxed if I use retinol? +
Not on that area. Retinol, tretinoin, and strong acids thin the surface skin enough that waxing can lift it, which is a real burn rather than mild redness. Stop for five to seven days beforehand and tell us what you use.
What if I do not know what shape suits me? +
That is a normal thing to say and we would rather you said it. We map to your bone structure and natural growth, and we deliberately take less on a first visit. You can always take more off, and you cannot put it back this month.
