You also get neck, shoulder, hand, arm, and scalp massage worked in.
Which modalities should I pick? +
Tell your aesthetician the outcome you want and let them choose. Dull and dehydrated usually points to hydrodermabrasion plus oxygen infusion. Congested skin points to a peel and high frequency. Fine lines point to LED. You are not expected to know the menu.
Is ninety minutes actually relaxing or is it a lot of work on the face? +
Both, deliberately. The active steps are front-loaded and the massage work is threaded through, so it does not feel like ninety minutes of being poked. A fair number of clients fall asleep.
How often should I book one? +
