Should I share details about the shoot beforehand? +

What does makeup for a shoot cost? +
It is priced alongside our other applications, with airbrush at $150 for a ninety minute appointment. Tell us the type of shoot when you book, because a headshot and an editorial session need different amounts of time.
Will I look overdone in person? +
A little more defined than your everyday face, yes, and deliberately. Cameras flatten features and wash out colour, so what reads as slightly strong in the mirror reads as normal on screen. We will show you and explain as we go.
What about flash and SPF? +
We avoid SPF in the products we use on your face for a shoot, because titanium dioxide and zinc bounce flash back and create white cast. That is one of the most common reasons someone looks grey in photos without knowing why.
How early before the shoot should I book? +
Aim to be finished at least thirty minutes before you need to be on set, so makeup has time to settle and you are not rushing. For an early call time we will open early rather than have you arrive half done.
